LEADERSHIP
TIM & JANET JOHNS
Tim and Janet Johns are the founders of the ROCK International Tribe and Rock Solid Urban Impact. They met at Tarkio College where they both received their bachelor's degrees. Tim went on to earn a Master's of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry from Regent University. They have been happily married for over 35 years and have two married children, who with their spouses love and serve Jesus. They are “papa” and “nana” to three grandchildren. Tim and Janet powerfully encountered Christ during the Jesus Movement in the early 70’s. They live with a passion to help reveal Christ’s love and Father’s heart to this generation in the context of family. They are convinced the church can be revived and reformed, so that it can effectively transform cities, regions, and nations for the glory of God. To this end, they plant kingdom advancing churches, train “sons of God” to be effective spiritual parents and leaders, author manuals and books, and travel extensively to serve the body of Christ worldwide. In addition, they have started several businesses and currently own and run a real estate business. The Johns’ believe that all of life is to come under Christ’s Kingly rule, so that the good news of the kingdom of God can be actualized on earth as it is in heaven. They just moved out West to help start new churches and kingdom ministries while continuing to provide apostolic leadership to the Rock Tribe and point leadership to Rock Solid Urban Impact.
RYAN & KORTNI KUBICINA
Ryan and Kortni Kubicina are senior leaders and house church leaders at the ROCK. They moved to Kansas City in 2002 to be further equipped in Kingdom life after graduating from FIRE School of Ministry, and have been planting and overseeing house churches in the K.C. metro area. Ryan and Kortni met in high school in Warren, Ohio and later tied the knot in July of 1999. Since then they have been blessed with four children (and another on the way!).
